How it works

A small setup. A different way to work.

Connect your assistant, choose what Rayito can access, then start with an ordinary question.

Public preview. The public download and checkout are not open yet.

01

Check the essentials.

You need a Mac running macOS 14.2 or later. macOS 26 is recommended for local dictation. Rayito supports English and Spanish; Spanish neural voices require the local voice package.

02

Sign in to Rayito.

Verify your email with the sign-in code. Your 3-day trial starts automatically once you verify your email and sign in. No card is required, and it does not automatically become a paid subscription.

03

Connect the assistant you already use.

Requires your own ChatGPT or Claude subscription.

Claude Code / CodexYour account and limits

Install Claude Code and sign in through its own login with a supported Claude plan. Then select it in Rayito’s settings.

ChatGPT subscription support through Codex is pending commercial availability. Your provider’s limits and terms still apply.

04

Choose what it can see and do.

In System Settings → Privacy & Security, allow Screen Recording for visual context, Microphone for speaking, and Accessibility for app actions. Restart Rayito if macOS asks.

App actions also require Peekaboo and its permissions. Select a window and review the approval scope before letting it act.

05

Start with an ordinary question.

“Why did this number jump?” “Help me understand this diagram.” “Show me where to change this.” Keep the content visible and speak or type.
